WV DMV Expiration Dates Extended

Just a reminder that if your registration sticker for your vehicle is expired or about to expire, the WV DMV is extending the expiration dates.  Please see the message from the DMV below:

“The DMV is also extending the expiration date of any driver’s license, instructional permit, or vehicle registration with an expiration date in March or April of 2020 for three months from the date of expiration on the face of the document.  However, DMV will continue to renew any of these items online or through the US Mail as they come in.”

To get your May renewal you will need to send in your 2019 tax receipt, and your renewal application to the DMV or visit a DMV Kiosk. If you did not own a vehicle as of July, 1 of 2018 you will need to obtain an affidavit from our office. Please contact us at (304) 291-7222 or   For more information, you may contact the West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles at 1-800-642-9066.  You may also register your vehicle online at"
