In being responsive to current COVID-19 developments, the purpose of this notice is to communicate that, effective immediately, the Monongalia County Assessor’s Office will be closed starting Wednesday, October 28, 2020 until otherwise noted.

Currently Appraising

  1. Our Appraisal Unit's Field Deputies will soon begin conducting parcel reviews for TY 2021.  Residential Deputies are scheduled to start Wednesday, May 20, and Commercial Deputies on Monday, May 18.  Commercial staff will assess ongoing new construction across all county districts.  All staff will have proper clothing identifying the office, staff ID tags, and marked vehicles.  Please call 304-291-7107 with any questions.  Districts currently being assessed are in bold:
