Tax Map Image Files have been "Upgraded" from our
"Internet Version" Map Files to our "Full Size Version" Map Files.

"Internet Version" Maps were a 50% Reduction of the "Full Size Version" Maps.

Full Size Version Maps provide higher quality resolution but are much larger in file size.

Reduction of Tax Map Image Files was necessary in 1997 as a result of Slower
Computer Processor Speeds along with the very Slow Dialup Connections available at that time.

We had to strike a compromise between Image Quality and create acceptable Download Times.

"Full Size Version" Tax Maps have been used in the Courthouse
for many years as faster processors for computers were developed.

 Faster Internet Connections now widely available and used by many Internet users, now allow us
to provide the higher quality "Full Size Version" Tax Map Image Files to users of our Website.

Please be Advised, if you are still using a "Dialup" Connection or Computer with a
Slower Processor you will experience longer "Download" and "Display" times.

Please remember we intend for the Tax Maps to be "Downloaded", not viewed Online.
Many issues may be encountered by viewing them Online vs. Downloading,
that are a result of "Personal" Computer configurations not in our control.

"Downloading" the Map Files to your computer, allows you to control the program to view it in,
and allows you to compile your own set of map files to be viewed without going Online.

Viewing Tax Maps while Online may force you to use Browser Plug-ins installed
on your computer which may not be able to Display, Zoom in, out or Print the Tax Maps.

These are just a few issues that we are aware of associated to Online Viewing.

Problems encountered associated to "Downloaded" Files generally are
found to be a result of "Personal" Computer configuration issues.
